Pricing & Quotations
How much does a plaster ceiling cost in Malaysia?
It depends on the area, design complexity and lighting. As a transparent reference, our promotion packages are: 10×15 ft from RM3,000, 10×25 ft from RM3,900 and 13×30 ft from RM4,900, each including free lighting units. For your exact room, WhatsApp us the dimensions and we quote it free.
Is the consultation and quotation really free?
Yes. Site visit, measurement, design advice and the written quotation are free within our coverage areas, with no obligation.
What factors change the price most?
Five things: total area, design complexity (flat vs L-box vs curve), the amount of lighting and wiring, ceiling height and access, and the site condition (new install vs tear-off and repair). Our pricing guide in the Knowledge Base explains each one.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, Visa and MasterCard.
Installation
How long does installation take?
Every project is different, the schedule depends on room size, design complexity and lighting scope. Contact us with your room details and we will confirm the exact timeline together with your free quotation.
Which plaster ceiling design should I choose?
Flat for clean minimal rooms, L-box for living/dining areas with hidden LED strip, cove for a soft classic look, bulkhead to box in piping, and curve for feature areas. We recommend a design after seeing your room, or see the design guide in our Knowledge Base.
Is there a minimum ceiling height for a plaster ceiling?
You need enough clearance for the ceiling drop, commonly around 4–6 inches for a flat ceiling and more for L-box designs. Most Malaysian homes have comfortable margin. If your ceiling is low, flat or partial designs usually still work; we advise on site.
Do you handle the electrical wiring for lighting?
Yes, downlight, LED strip and T5 wiring is planned and installed together with the ceiling as one job.
Do you do small jobs, one room, or one repair?
Yes. All projects are welcome, big or small.
Repair & Maintenance
Why does my plaster ceiling have yellow stains?
Yellow or brown patches almost always mean water intrusion, a roof leak, bathroom above, or air-con condensation. The leak must be fixed before repainting, or the stain returns.
Can cracks in a plaster ceiling be repaired?
Usually yes. Hairline cracks are re-taped, filled and skim-coated. Wide or growing cracks should be inspected first as they can indicate movement in the framing.
My ceiling is sagging, is it dangerous?
Treat it seriously: sagging usually means water-soaked board or failed fixings, and sections can fall. Keep people clear of the area and arrange an inspection promptly.
How do I clean a plaster ceiling?
Dust it first with a vacuum or a cloth-wrapped broom, treat stains with a diluted bleach or peroxide solution, and always protect the floor and furniture below. Full steps are in our maintenance guide.
